According to the problem analysis result done by TSA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.
1. Customer Drain Efficiency
1-5-1-1 - Disconnect the grey drainage tube from the customer drainage system, then put it into a bucket. Pour 1800ml of water into the cup rinser sink, and verify if the water in the cup rinser sink can be drained within 20 seconds.
* See DETAILS of drain efficiency test information here
- Result 1 - Drained within 20 seconds.
Start 1-5-1-2. - Result 2 - Cannot be drained within 20 seconds.
Start 1-5-2-1.
1-5-1-2 - Reconnect the grey drainage tube back to the customer drainage system. Pour 1800ml of water into the cup rinser sink, and verify if the water in the cup rinser sink can be drained within 20 seconds.
- Result 1 - Drained within 20 seconds.
Escalate to FAE. - Result 2 - Cannot be drained within 20 seconds.
Escalate to TSA to further discuss with the customer for drainage efficiency improvement.
(Root cause: Poor drainage efficiency at the customer site)
2. Drainage Line
1-5-2-1 - Modify the external drainage system (from the sharkbite connector to the end of the drainage tube) with the following standards and accessories, then start 1-5-2-2.
* If the customer side of the external drainage system (Other tubings after the drainage tube) also needs to be modified, escalate to TSA.
1-5-2-2 - Disassemble the external & internal drainage tubes and verify if the inner surfaces of both tubes can be thoroughly cleaned.
- Result 1 - Can be thoroughly cleaned.
Start 1-5-2-4. - Result 2 - Heavy deposits.
Start 1-5-2-3.
1-5-2-3 - Replace the drainage tubes (see internal drainage tube replacement SOP here), and follow the drain efficiency test procedure to verify if the drainage efficiency meets the required standard (1800ml/20sec)
- Result 1 - Drain efficiency meets the required standard.
Issue closed. Train the customer to flush the drainage with hot water every day.
(Root cause: Drainage clog) - Result 2 - Still bad drain efficiency.
Escalate to FAE.
1-5-2-4 - Clean the external & internal drainage tubes, and follow the drain efficiency test procedure to verify if the drainage efficiency meets the required standard (1800ml/20sec)
- Result 1 - Drain efficiency meets the required standard.
Issue closed. Train the customer to flush the drainage with hot water every day.
(Root cause: Drainage clog) - Result 2 - Still bad drain efficiency.
Escalate to FAE.
